The foundation of our lives determines the quality and structure of everything we build upon it. Just as a house needs a solid base to withstand storms, our lives need a strong foundation to endure life’s challenges. The Word of God is the only unshakable foundation we can rely on. Hebrews 12:25-29 reminds us that everything in creation will be shaken, but only what is unshakable will remain. Jesus’ teachings in Matthew 7:24-27 illustrate this principle by comparing two builders: one who built his house on the rock and another on sand. Both houses faced the same storms, but only the house on the rock stood firm. Trusting and applying God’s Word ensures stability, resilience, and flourishing in every season.
