“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—His good, pleasing and perfect will.” – Romans 12:2
Growth requires change, and spiritual growth is no exception. Often, we find ourselves stuck in patterns that hinder our spiritual progress – whether it’s negative thought patterns, harmful habits, or misplaced priorities. God invites us to break free from these old ways and embrace new patterns of living that align with His purposes. This process isn’t always comfortable, but it’s necessary for our spiritual development. Just as God led the Israelites through the wilderness to teach them new ways of living, He guides us through seasons of change to transform us.
Reflection
What old patterns or habits might God be asking you to leave behind as you pursue spiritual growth?

Prayer
Lord, give me courage to break free from old patterns that don’t serve Your purposes. Help me embrace the new things You’re doing in my life. Thank You for Your patient guidance through seasons of change. Amen.
