“And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.” – 2 Corinthians 9:8
Fear can be a powerful motivator, especially when it comes to money. We often find ourselves caught in an endless cycle of worry about not having enough, missing out, or falling behind. This fear can drive us to make decisions that actually increase our financial stress rather than relieve it. But God calls us to a different way of living. He invites us to trust Him with our finances, just as we trust Him with other areas of our lives. When we operate from a place of fear, we’re viewing our resources through a lens of scarcity rather than God’s abundance.
Reflection Question
What financial fears are currently driving your decisions, and how might your choices look different if you approached them from a position of trust in God’s provision?
Quote
A scarcity mindset always sees your finances from a position of lack.
Prayer
Father, help me recognize when fear is driving my financial decisions. Give me the courage to trust You with my resources and the wisdom to see abundance where I once saw scarcity. Amen.
