“Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.” – Proverbs 3:9-10

God’s economy operates differently than ours. While we focus on addition – trying to accumulate more and more – God works through multiplication. When we surrender our resources to Him, He can do more with them than we ever could on our own. This principle isn’t about getting rich quick or prosperity gospel promises. It’s about trusting that God can take what we offer Him and multiply it for His kingdom purposes. When we align our financial priorities with His purposes, we participate in His multiplication process.

Reflection
Where have you seen God multiply resources in your life or in the lives of others when they were surrendered to Him?

Quote
We operate in addition, we’re always trying to add it up… But God doesn’t work in addition. When I look back at Scripture, I see God works in multiplication.

Prayer
God, help me to trust Your multiplication principle. Show me how to be faithful with what You’ve given me, knowing that You can do more with it than I can imagine. Amen.
