“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.” – Matthew 6:19-20

Our culture constantly pushes us to invest in temporary things – the newest gadget, the bigger house, the better car. But God calls us to invest in things that last forever. While material investments have their place, our primary focus should be on eternal investments. When we invest in God’s kingdom – through giving, serving, and supporting His work – we store up treasures in heaven. These investments yield returns that extend far beyond our lifetime and impact eternity.

Reflection
What eternal investments could you make with your resources that would impact lives for God’s kingdom?

Quote
The only thing that will last beyond our years is what we invest in our eternal future. You can’t take your money with you.

Prayer
Lord, help me focus on eternal investments rather than temporary gains. Show me opportunities to use my resources for Your kingdom purposes. Amen.
