“No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.” – Luke 16:13

Everything we have belongs to God – we are simply managers of His resources. This perspective shift changes how we view our money and possessions. Instead of asking “What do I want to do with my money?” we begin to ask “What does God want me to do with His money?” Good stewardship involves careful planning, wise decisions, and regular evaluation of our financial choices. When we embrace our role as managers rather than owners, we can make decisions that align with God’s purposes for His resources.

Reflection
How would viewing yourself as a manager of God’s resources, rather than the owner, change your financial decisions?

Quote
We are God’s financial managers. Think about that. All that you have, God has entrusted you with to steward for the kingdom.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, help me to be a faithful steward of all You’ve entrusted to me. Guide my decisions and help me use Your resources in ways that honor You. Amen.
