“Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” – Hebrews 10:25
God designed us for community, not isolation. We weren’t meant to journey through life alone, watching others from a distance. True community means doing life shoulder to shoulder – supporting, encouraging, and challenging one another. This is especially true in our church community, where we’re called to be active participants rather than passive observers. When we engage deeply with our faith community, we find strength, accountability, and opportunities for growth that we simply can’t experience in isolation. It’s about moving from being mere consumers to becoming contributors in God’s family.
Reflection
In what ways can you move from being a consumer to a contributor in your church community this week?
Quote
We were never meant to do life front to back. We were meant to do it shoulder to shoulder.
Prayer
Dear God, help me embrace the community You’ve placed me in. Show me how to serve others and build meaningful connections that glorify You. Thank you for giving me a spiritual family to do life with. Amen.
