“Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.” – Colossians 3:13
Just like a garden needs regular tending to flourish, relationships require consistent care and attention to grow and thrive. We often expect great relationships to happen naturally, but the truth is, meaningful connections don’t maintain themselves. They need intentional investment – time, energy, understanding, and patience. Think of your relationships like a fire that needs constant fuel to keep burning bright. Without regular maintenance, even the strongest relationships can slowly fade. Today, consider the relationships you value most. Are you actively investing in them, or have you been taking them for granted?
Reflection Question
Which relationship in your life needs more intentional investment right now, and what specific steps can you take this week to strengthen that connection?
Quote
Relationships take work. There’s no such thing as a good relationship that just happened.
Prayer
Lord, give me wisdom to invest wisely in my relationships. Help me be intentional with my time and energy, showing love and care to those You’ve placed in my life. Amen.
