Then he said, “When I was with you before, I told you that everything written about me in the law of Moses and the prophets and in the Psalms must be fulfilled.” – Luke 24:44

Jesus made an incredible claim that seemed impossible to His followers: He would die and rise again in three days. Imagine the disciples’ confusion and doubt. Who makes such a bold prediction? Yet Jesus didn’t just talk about it—He fulfilled it exactly as promised. This wasn’t luck or coincidence; it was divine precision. When someone predicts their own death and resurrection and then delivers on that promise, it changes everything about how we view their other words. Every promise Jesus made, every teaching He gave, every assurance He offered carries the weight of His proven reliability. If He could conquer death as promised, then His promises about forgiveness, eternal life, and never leaving us are absolutely trustworthy. Today, when life feels uncertain and you’re wondering if God’s promises are real, remember the empty tomb. It stands as eternal proof that Jesus keeps His word, no matter how impossible it might seem.

Reflection
Which promise of Jesus do you need to trust more fully, knowing that He has already proven His faithfulness through the resurrection?

Prayer
Jesus, thank You for being a promise keeper. When doubt creeps in, remind me of the empty tomb and help me trust Your word completely.
