‘The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it.’ – Psalm 24:1
It is easy to look at your paycheck, your savings account, or your job title and quietly believe that is what keeps you afloat. Most of us do it without even realizing it. But there is a foundational truth that changes everything when you finally let it settle in your heart: God is your source. Psalm 24:1 puts it plainly. Everything belongs to Him. That means the money in your account, the roof over your head, and the skills that earned you that paycheck all trace back to one place. God. When you begin to see yourself not as an owner but as a steward, a manager of resources that already belong to Him, something shifts. Generosity stops feeling like a loss and starts feeling like a natural response to what He has already given. This is not about pressure. It is an invitation. God is not asking you to give out of what you lack. He is asking you to trust Him with what He has already provided. And when you do, you open the door to experiencing Him as your true provider in ways you never expected. You do not have to have it all figured out. You just have to take one step of faith and trust the God who has never once run out.
