‘But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.”‘ – James 4:6

Here’s the beautiful plot twist in our story of internal conflict and divided loyalties: God’s response isn’t condemnation – it’s greater grace. No matter how messy your heart feels, how many times you’ve failed, or how divided your loyalties have been, His grace is bigger. It’s greater than your worst conflict, your deepest failure, your strongest addiction, and your most stubborn pride. But here’s the key – this grace flows specifically to those who humble themselves before God. Grace isn’t God’s permission slip for us to stay broken; it’s His power to transform us completely. When we acknowledge our need, admit our failures, and humble ourselves before Him, we position ourselves to receive this life-changing grace. The enemy wants you to believe you’re too far gone, too broken, or too inconsistent for God’s love. But grace says otherwise. Whether you stumbled last night, last week, or last year, His grace is greater than wherever you’ve been. It’s not just enough to cover your sin – it’s powerful enough to change your heart.

Reflection

Quote
His grace is greater than any conflict. His grace is greater than our failure. His grace is greater than our pride. His grace is greater than any compromise. His grace is greater than any addiction. His grace is greater than our anger and our inconsistency. God’s grace is greater than any sin in our life.

Prayer
Thank You, God, that Your grace is greater than my failures and powerful enough to transform my heart. Help me receive Your grace with humility.
